Modelling Ladder for Looksmaxxers

This guide is for trying to get into modelling through reputation stacking, which is the best way imo. The point is not to jump straight into agencies (obviously). The better method is to start low build up socially, create a reputation and use each level to go to the next

SPOILER: IF YOU'RE A FOID YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING WITH YOUR INFINITE SMV

You do not need to be attractive. You just need to look presentable, have decent style, and be useful for small local brands.

- Local clothing brands
- Barber shops
- Gyms
- Fragrance pages
- Streetwear pages
- Small photographers
- Cafes
- Salons
- Local businesses that need content

At this level competition is low because most people are too scared to ask. You can DM them or go in person and offer to model for their posts, reels, or promotional photos and etc

The goal here is not money, what you want from this is:

- Real photos

- Real experience
- People seeing you as “a model”
- Content for your Instagram

- Confidence in front of the camera

Even if the brand is small it still gives you proof that someone wanted you

Commercial modelling is where a lot of normal above average guys can do okay

You do not need to be a runway Chad. Commercial modelling is about being marketable and fitting a brand’s image

This includes:

- Clothing ads
- Lifestyle shoots
- Product shoots
- Barber ads
- Gym or fitness content
- Local campaigns

- Social media advertisements

A lot of people can excel here because the competition is not as brutal as high fashion. Brands usually want someone who looks relatable but still above average

What I'd suggest is to hit up local brands. Message them, show your best photos, and tell them you are available for shoots or collaborations. Going in person can work even better because you seem more serious and confident.

This level helps you build a portfolio and makes you look more legitimate when applying to agencies later in this guide

Once you have some photos and proof applying to agencies becomes much easier

For smaller local agencies, you usually need to be around MTN+ with decent presentation, height, frame, skin.

For decent or better known agencies, HMTN+ is usually the minimum especially if they care about fashion, campaigns or runway.

The previous steps help a lot because you are not applying as a random guy with autistic mirror selfies; Agencies like people who already look like they are going somewhere

This is where you larp high value

I do not recommend faking real agency emails, contracts, or pretending to be signed to actual agencies. That can backfire badly with a simple google search

you should just create the appearance of being a model through controlled branding of yourself (Larping)

You can do this by:

- Making a clean modelling portfolio page
- Posting behind-the-scenes style photos
- Doing test shoots with photographers
- Using professional email templates when contacting brands
- Creating a simple comp card
- Adding “model / commercial model / fashion model” to your bio if you actually do shoots
- Posting collabs with small brands
- Tagging photographers, stylists, barbers, and brands

- Making your Instagram look like a model’s page

This creates the same effect that you're already in the modelling scene but without having to fake anything serious (that will more than likely backfire or get you in legal trouble).

At HTN+, this works especially well because people are already more likely to believe you have modelling potential. Once your page looks professional, smaller brands, photographers, and agencies WILL take you more seriously

do not fake being signed just make your presentation so strong that people assume you are already a serious model

If you are Chadlite, you can skip a lot of the rambling ontop

At this level your looks alone are already strong enough that agencies and brands are more likely to give you a chance even with little experience

you should apply directly to:

- Local agencies
- Commercial agencies
- Fashion agencies
- Instagram scouting pages
- Photographers

- Brand casting calls

You still need decent digitals and a clean look, but you do not need as much reputation stacking as lower levels. Your face, height, frame, and proportions carry you bhaijaan

Still having local shoots and commercial work helps although not that much needed

If you are a true Chad you do not need to do anything

Chads
can get scouted from Instagram, public places, events, gyms, malls, or even just through mutuals. Their look is already rare enough that people notice.

the main advice is:

- Keep your Instagram clean
- Post high-quality photos
- Have good style
- Stay lean
- Have clear digitals available
- Do not look socially awkward online

- Make it easy for people to contact you

A Chad does not need to do anything lol

The whole point of the ladder is that every step makes the next step easier

small local shoots help you get commercial shoots

commercial shoots help you get agency attention

agency attention helps you get better campaigns

better campaigns make you look higher status

higher status makes people more likely to scout or accept you

- Clear skin (if you let them use makeup this wont be as big of a problem)
- Lean face (By lean here I mean around 15% bf and lower not that lean but still lean)
- Good haircut
- Good posture
- Good style
- Decent height/frame
- Good Instagram presentation
- Ability to pose
- Confidence speaking to people

- Professionalism

Hell yeah , I needed this.

Modelling Ladder for Looksmaxxers

This guide is for trying to get into modelling through reputation stacking, which is the best way imo. The point is not to jump straight into agencies (obviously). The better method is to start low build up socially, create a reputation and use each level to go to the next

SPOILER: IF YOU'RE A FOID YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING WITH YOUR INFINITE SMV

You do not need to be attractive. You just need to look presentable, have decent style, and be useful for small local brands.

- Local clothing brands
- Barber shops
- Gyms
- Fragrance pages
- Streetwear pages
- Small photographers
- Cafes
- Salons
- Local businesses that need content

At this level competition is low because most people are too scared to ask. You can DM them or go in person and offer to model for their posts, reels, or promotional photos and etc

The goal here is not money, what you want from this is:

- Real photos

- Real experience
- People seeing you as “a model”
- Content for your Instagram

- Confidence in front of the camera

Even if the brand is small it still gives you proof that someone wanted you
