At a certain height, if you have short torso
Relatively your legs will be taller
And vice versa
Unless someone has a specially long neck or smth
I don’t see how a short torso makes the waist look wider

The short torso + long legged combo is viewed as more attractive on average. Mainly because when you have a longer torso, the illusion of an hourglass is more elongated instead of defined

if you scale the extremism down on both examples, the long torso will look better sooner than the long legs
