Hey everyone,

I've made a few changes and have some updates for the forum :peepoLove:

I also just want to please remind everyone to not share photos or personal information with others on the forum if you are not comfortable doing so. I can't control members if they share information outside the platform and I can't play detective around each individual case - and it's not fair on the moderators to chase these cases up.

If you don't want to risk anything being traced back to you then please don't make any posts.

1. I'm opening up moderator applications again

I'd like to open up moderator applications again.

If you are interested in becoming a moderator, you can apply here: https://forms.gle/xXccV8mWSVA2KMVh6

Note: If you applied in the previous application earlier this month then you do NOT need to apply again.

2. Avatar frames are back for MotM winners and Staff

3. Icons for user banners have been added again

4. Members now have the ability to delete their account

It's been too time consuming for me to delete people's accounts manually, so I've added a feature for you to do this yourself if you want to leave.

You can delete your account by accessing the visitor menu (clicking on your username / avatar).

Deleting your account will remove the following from our database (to ensure compliance with GDPR laws):
  • Email Address
  • Password
  • Avatar
  • Profile Banner (if you have one)
  • Personal Details
Additionally, your username will be randomized.

Keep in mind that your posts will remain on the forum, so please be mindful about what you post and don't post anything you wouldn't want people to find or know.

5. Other upcoming changes
  1. Allow users to change thir username color after it has been unlocked + more color options (i.e. pink / purple / cream, etc.)
  2. Add more trophies to be unlocked
  3. Add more prefixes - thanks @Whitepill for the suggestion on a 'Motivation' prefix
  4. Fast banana type theme
Let me know if you have any more suggestions or run into any issues.

thanks everyone for the positive feedback

another idea I had was allowing people to add their gender, which would be displayed underneath 'Reputation' on messages to help people know who they are getting advice from

what do people think of this?

the server isn't big enough to handle media being shared in private messages

I might change this in the future though

some people don't like browsing this website in public - i'm not sure why, but some people have suggested it
