Foward Growth During Puberty

I am 14 years old, I noticed that my face, more specifically my chin is a bit recessed and I am not sure what to do. It significantly kills my side profile and I wanna know what I can do about it as I am still growing. I also wear braces to fix my overbite I have had them for about 7 months now.

Did you get elastics for your overbite? I also had a small overbite and I fixed using elastics and it gave some forward growth. Don't listen to the retards saying that it will recess your maxilla it won't there isn't enough force

Yes I got elastics and yeah I saw a couple people saying it might recess my maxilla but I looked into it and it’s not true lmao

just wear them constantly, how many mm is your overbite and when did you start wearing elastics?

just make sure you don't mouth breathe + have a good diet, cause proper nutrition can support the overall growth of your body (including the bones in your face)

Not rlly sure how many mm my overbite actually is but i got my elastics like abt 6 months ago, so 1 month after I got my braces

just have a good lifestyle, you're 14 and still in puberty a lot of things are gonna change

a diet that provides the essential nutrients your body needs, includes hard, whole foods and is low in processed foods and sugar
