Make a ramus short from the side? - it makes the jaw look steep and appear as if it lacks mass from the front too.

Make a chin recessed from the side? - Your chin looks recessed from the front and creates a mental crease and a potential shadow cast over it in many lightings

Make the maxilla recessed from the side? - Your maxilla looks caved in from the front, will be very noticable depending on lighting, it will create a sunken in look

i mean bro that’s like saying forward growth is cope. even if you could argue someone like chico who isn’t the king forward growth, he has other features that make up for it.

Mostly why side matters is becuase irl you’re not always staring people head on like an owl, girls notice side too
