The teacher example doesnt demonstrate that women arent paid less than men.historically women were the only ones applying for teaching jobs since theyre better with kids. It argues that one statistical method may underestimate teachers weekly earnings by dividing annual salary by 52 weeks instead of the roughly 38 weeks they work. Even if that criticism is valid it only affects a specific occupation and doesn't invalidate wage comparisons across the broader workforce.
