This is mainly for post grad, but keep this in mind if you're still in hs or college.

You are a social creature, plain and simple. You’re out of school for years on your own, you’ve your social circle and the ease of living around social and outgoing people with free time and full of energy all living around you.

You may have begun coping by focusing on yourself; money and status. That’s meaningless, to certain extent.

The NT path to social life outside of school: graduate college, move to a city with your fraternity brothers (or sorority sisters), get a job in sales, go out with friends from work, meet your roommates’ friends, become friends of friends. Someone is always going out somewhere; there is always somewhere to go and someone to meet.

I don’t think anyone on here really relates to that. I hope no one on here is rotting, or if you were in the past, now you look presentable and want to finally live your life for once.

So what do we do now that we have to start over.

I went from a disappointing college experience to full blown isolation post college to all of a sudden ton of friends in a new city – all of whom were in mid to top-tier fraternities/sororities. Every photo I was in was popular and outgoing attractive people. I would check in on friends from college and they all would post boring meetups with acquaintances. I have no idea how I faked my way into this life except I think looksmaxxing actually worked (chin implant and skin improvement and just my face maturing) turned me into a different person. I was lucky to live in a building with neighbors who were outgoing and friendly enough to chat up strangers and grew into hanging out and then kept on meeting more and more people until I had some very close friends for life.

Okay so you are post grad, you’ve been an outsider your whole and you’ve been doing self-improvement and you’ve seen changes and now you’re ready to live your life and leave the forums for good.

If you’re deep in your career and are making good money, skip this, but if your career is still up in the air then go into sales. Tech sales is hot right now, so that’s a good field. Something like an SDR or BDR role. Your job is where you spend most of your time anyway, so it matters what field you’re in. This is the most NT job field out there, you will be speaking with your co-workers and random people on the phone all day. To get hired you just need to present yourself as someone who wants to grind. That’s all they care about, high energy, extraverted, and hardworking willing to grind. Literally regurgitate whatever those scam course sellers are teaching right now.

Sales probably won’t last forever as cold calling is getting tougher, but my point is if you are early in your career, it doesn’t really matter.

Now you have a job surrounded by NT people get roommates in the city. Do not live in the suburbs. No matter what, get as many roommates and live in a trendy neighborhood. Figure out a way to make it work. Preferably with other people working in sales or finance or marketing. You don’t want someone non-NT (not to hate, but you need to fake your way into a new life).

This is the simplest way to build a social circle, just go out with your co-workers. You’re going to have to follow sports however. I don’t think most people on here are interested in sports, but you have to be able to hold normie conversations in depth. Study football, basketball, ufc, and maybe baseball/soccer.

You’re also going to need a fake backstory on dating history and bodycounts. LIE! The simplest lie is that you’ve just had a bunch of situationships.

Now let’s say you’re already set in your career or the job market isn’t good, so jumping into entry level sales doesn’t make sense, what do you do? Assuming your job is boring and there’s no one your age you probably speak to no one all day and just go home, go to the gym, cook, and commute, your life is boring. A lot of people live like this. Normal people even.

You cannot fall into this trap. Don’t. You will become complacent. The mind is good at getting used to challenges and difficulties, but it also means you can get used to wasting your life.

Dating apps are a possibility, if your pics are good enough and you’re hot enough you can swing that and have stuff to do. I wouldn’t bank on it though.

Everyone online is already familiar with lack of third spaces, less community, etc. Do not ever listen to reddit advice, they’ll always tell you to go to some card games meetup or rock climbing. Don’t do that. I’m not even joking there are hobbies for NTs and hobbies for redditors. You need to focus on sports related hobbies, and actual sports not ultimate frisbee. Don’t go to concerts or bars alone, you’re not going to get anything out of it. Bars are groups interacting with groups. You’ll get there one day.

BJJ/Muay Thai is pretty popular now you’ll meet a lot of people. Keep going to that consistently, it’s actually a good way to meet people and it’s designed for people new to the sport to learn.
Flag football, pickup basketball, and pickup soccer are good options as well.
Pickelabll is kind of goofy but it might still be a thing, it used to be a big thing I haven’t heard anyone talk about it in a while.
Tennis lessons.
Golf lessons.
Volleyball (beach if you live in cali or florida).
Crossfit.
Rockclimbing is goofy and i said not to, but whatever.
Alcoholics anonymous and rehab are underrated, you will find the most beautiful people so full of life - and many of them come from wealthy families.
Non denominational church that’s clearly advertised to younger people.

Outside of sports, creative hobbies will introduce you to girls (alt girls even). Art classes like drawing or painting courses, in the city not suburbs!, will put you in classes of just girls.

You can also take advantage of laptop money. Try building a community service that you’re passionate about (this is generic sorry), start an investing group – go to investing meetups a lot of these guys are kind of type a about money and hustle and grind and want to find someone else with that same mindset so just do some business venture – you’re gonna have to go to networking events and see what sticks.

You also need to be living in a new build apartment; those luxury apartments are overrated but you will have lots of neighbors and places to hang out like the rooftop. Get a dog and meet other dog owners. Some dog owners are neurotic and their whole life is their dog, so you can get lumped into their life.

The point is as you notice, you sort of have to join something that is slightly cultish and go consistently until someone starts inviting you along to things. You just need that in and go from there. It’s tough.

Unfortunately, the easiest thing is to have friends from college and friends from work and their friends and so on. But you don’t. So you’re stuck trying to claw your way in.

In terms of money, do not chase being rich in your 20s. That’s ridiculous. I promise you, wealth does not matter in your 20s. Women are not going to reject you because you’re a broke bum. She’s going to reject you because she doesn’t want to fuck you. All you need to do is put a way a little bit each month into the market and let it compound and then take a look in your 30s or 40s, now you have a sizable net worth and some assets and you’re more attractive for marriage. But that’s the future. You will have far more fun in life, and learn far more, by doing dumb drunk shit bumming it with other broke friends and random crazy girls than “locking in” which is just paying for a course to do dropshipping or daytrading – ngmi.

ehh it's probably not worth it tbh
Wrong answer.
you were supposed to put either the skull or nerd emoji on my comment, then prove to me why it’s worth reading and defend your thread.
Also, work on your formatting; I see potential.

Will need this one say

Third space suggestions are really good. I don't think you have to choose between women and your career, though. You become successful in your 20s and still have fun.
