There’s a difference in women consuming romance novels and porn and consuming porn of weird kinks .Women consuming porn isn’t shocking,both genders have a sex drive so i don’t think it’s crazy that women also indulge in porn.The point of that the books can be banned in non western countries,I don’t think is true the content that they consume from is not primarily official hardback cover books,allot is fan fiction and things on certain sites.Also if it wasn’t environmental factor/cultural then content experiencing how they have for example a r**e kink in non western countries would be more present regardless if there was literacy on it or not.Anyway my point is both genders having a sex drive post puberty is normal development for both genders which would make both genders more likely to consume porn/sexually fuelled books but extreme porn and kinks (for example r**e) isn’t normal development,it’s an indication of some mental problem and/or socialised into liking that
