I haven't played in years but it would be nothing to get back into it, have 4 guitars coming from temu and one should be arriving today, I wont have any accessories like picks, capo, tuner, but having the guitar should be sufficient to practice chord shapes and teach them to my nephew.
I taught my niece the basics years ago, I gave her roughly 100 hours of hands on training for roughly a month after which she could play almost as well as me at the time.
I'm no expert, but I was able to play wonderwall, a few songs by three doors down, a few songs by goo goo dolls, as well as a bunch of riffs and chord progressions, I spent a lot of time learning new chord shapes, strumming patterns, and a bit of music theory, I didn't put a lot of practice in scales though or improvising with scales, though I did quite a bit of improvising chord progressions.
Once I get back into it I might upload some vids of me playing some basic stuff and maybe my nephew as well, providing he sticks with it.
