Good pencils for journaling

I've actually never tried their wooden pencil but the Kuru toga lineup has always been my go to for mechanical pencils.
The 9500 pencil will blow your mind!! I'll have to try out their mechanical ones.

This only matters if you would realistically have a wife one day, but because I'm truecel idk about being girly or not
I've been complimented by women many times for my impeccable handwriting ( I was using a green Kuru toga with a mono eraser on a yellowish A4 notebook )

One of said girls in Year 11 of highschool asked me out for Valentine's so his view is just plain wrong.

I'll be definitely giving it a try, thanks

For their mechanical line up, you just can't go wrong with the Kuru Toga. It has a rotating lead mechanism so the lead rotates a little every time you relieve pressure from writing. If causes for the lead to have a very uniform sharpness throughout writing. No more handwriting starting from sharp to blunt with this one.

Fascinating!! Have you ever tried Tombow? I've heard lots about it but am suspicious...

why dont you use a pen
-Able to erase off small mistakes
-Pencil lasts longer while ink can potentially fade or damage the paper

My 2 personal reasons. I don't have OCDs but it's the closest thing I can use to describe the way I write. I'm very particular about formatting, indenting, spacing and neatness. Sometimes I'll write a word and erase it like 5 or 6 times if I can't get the "y" or the "t" right. You can imagine how messy my pages would look if I had used a pen.

I used to use a water-based Parker IM and although I miss some of the upsides like the disgustingly smooth feeling of ink gliding across paper, I just can't deal with not being able to erase.

I also find comfort in knowing my writing will last till I'm dead, I won't have to worry about keeping my notebooks away from the sun and so forth.

The Tombow Mono HB, yeah. Seemed a bit too dark for a HB core but still really great writing experience. Felt like a 2B. Quite smudgy if you are particular about that

U should go over it with pen to make it bolder tbh also what does ur handwriting look like anyway

Mars Lumograph HB
Blackwing 602
Faber Castell 9000

These are among the best, and there are several nice pens I've left out due to overlapping categories with these three picks.

Discuss.
Pen mogs

I just used pencils ppl dropped or conned ppl out of their good pens
I used to do the same thing in primary school, I never brought stationary to school.

Then I had a 180 somewhere in high school

The lumograph is like 50 cents and the parker IM I think about 10 USD

I don't need a fortune even just 2 nice HB pencils would allow you to complete a journal of like a few hundred pages

I just buy Bic crystal pens

I use a pilot juice pen but I switch the body out for a g2
The G2 is such a classic

It's honestly for me like one of the best "school" pens. I've only had a .5 juice and I didn't like it to much. I liked playing with the clippy thing though

Yeah I like the ink of the .5 more than g2 but g2 is solid. It just smudges when I write and it makes me maaaaad.

The pilot juice ups in 0.4 are so nice too. No clippy thing but they're smooth to write with
