Very true, I try my best to use correct grammar, but I’m not really good at English tbh.

However, I’ve actually noticed a phenomenon contradictory to this, that the top comments in youtube and insta reels have a really high chance of having one grammatical error. I’ll collect some cases once I have more time and maybe make a thread abt it.

Depends on the community

If it's a techy or humanities aligned video, the commends will be filled with gay lords

If it's something like football, it's just ESL's making really bad jokes and spamming emojis

Assume you are writing to a group of horny teenage girls, in which case a try-hard message is very likely to be perceived as dissonant unless you have some sort of authority over them or/and a teacher-like function

Goofy language, in that case, may help to be perceived as more friendly and/or less judgmental
