I have been Grey Rocking my mom for a week

It kind of works? But then I can tell she just wants me to talk casually and forget everything because she puts on a nice voice and says casual things but I only respond when asked a question and my responses are limited.

I have to deal with her today so Hopefully She leaves me alone

I can’t google it Right now but it basically means acting like a rock to someone.
