guys 😭😭😭😭😭

all 😭 I’ll just take the day off tmr
basically the point of the question is that u have a hard “messy” integral and u want to make into into an easier “clean” integral through substitution. so u have to rearrange certain things in order for the answer to be more readable because it would be a long chain of shit otherwise

so u subsitute everything then the last step is the actual integration which is where i added the +C

“Dumb white boy” while being entirely lost on the easiest shit i’ve ever seen
Bro ur 12 u can’t tell me u know this

Stop this shit before another rumour goes around. I’ll make you sexting neymar the talk of the town for the next year.
bro be nice she’s just a girl

bro I wish
Okay so take (ln (x)^25)/x

This is a complicated equation so we can simplify it by substituting ln with u. U = ln(x)

Then you can take the derivative of both sides

d/dx (u) = d/dx ln(x)

you get du/dx = 1/x

du = 1/x dx

Now guess what?
The original equation was integral of ln(x)^25/x dx

Aka ln(x)^25 * 1/x dx

But since u = ln(x)
And du = 1/x dx

You can rewrite it as the integral of u^25 du

Now literally think of u how you think of x in a normal integral. The du “disappears” like how the dx does

All you need to do is find the integral of u^25

What would the integral of x^25 be?( X^26)/26

It’s like how the integral of x is x^2/2

look at the derivative of x^26/26
Multiply by 26, and subtract 1 from the exponent
26*1/26 *x^(26-1)

You get x^25 aka what we had before

Understand that much?

In this case, we just used u instead since x is already in the equation

However, the real value of u is ln(x). So just substitute the u for ln(x) and you ge the answer

It’s like how if I give you the system of equations y = x+3 and x= 3. You’ll stubtiture the value of x in the first equation to get y=6

anyway if I have u^26/26

And u = ln(x)

I have (ln(x))^26)/26

Nuke this shit thread. When i get notifications from it, i see the 1000 crying emojis lined up and receive a severe headache.

omggomg I understand now 😭🫶🏻 ily baddie

lmao she lied she said she’s still lost but didn’t wanna say 💀 but yeah u have to put in giga effort atp to save her
That sum is basic, there is a lot more after this which will fuck you up, it’s over for her lmao
