I didn't eat before wrestling practice and I forgot how lightheaded you can get from that.
when the coach was explaining a certain move istg when I was looking at him everything started getting blurry and I felt like I was gonna pass out.
thankfully my other coach made me eat a bunch of cough drops (for sugar intake) so I would be able to finish practice

I don't think i've ever been THAT lightheaded before in my life

yeye carbs are essential pre practice

normally ill do a banana drizzle some honey on it too

Just slow gears tings.

For future reference drink more water

Not right before and not a meal

But some light with carbs is good
Muh muh me need energy

You don't fucking need this bullshit, your body has plenty of its own. I go to practice 24+ hours fasted constantly and feel even better, I've done hikes before fasted.

Stop the cope

You also need to get enough carbs during the day with your meals.

When i trained for MMA pre-competition i was putting vitargo & peptopro in my water bottle to endure the 2 daily sessions

I do NOT eat before practice i keep doing that on the invite only sessions and we always hard spar and im scared ill throw up if i leave my body open

Your body does not have a lot of glycogen stored what are you babbling about.

Hikes are low intensity exercise so it would make sense you feel fine

Any high intensity exercise (like ski racing, sprinting etc) you need glycogen

Are u fucking retarded? Your whole body is made up of energy. You're not accounting for fats

I do high intensity exercise

β€˜Carb-loading’ is a myth. But how much carbohydrate do athletes really need? https://share.google/7cEhAsVaTkAZG5gDn

Your logic is backwards anyway since high intensity excercise is when your body would run off of glycogen since it lasts up to 2 hours

DO NOT EAT BEFORE PRACTICE HOLY SHIT

How to throw up - no hacks, no glitches
nonono like I meant I didn't eat anything at ALL throughout the day
since I didn't have calories to burn, it got me rlly lightheaded

Yes you can oxidize fat for energy, but carbs give more energy per liter of oxygen compared to fat.

I never said anything about carb loading.

Interesting article, good read.

The article literally states that 15-30g of carbohydrates per hour of exercise provided a β€œperformance boost”.

It argues that for a different reason than mine, but it still notes that carbs are beneficial.

i ate before practice once, we were doing basket fulls and i threw up like 5 times
