Hair becomes stupidly flat hours after washing

Lift the roots while drying and/or get a Dyson airwrap to give yourself blow outs
I do that, it helps a little bit but still at the end of the day it becomes as flat as a board. Is the Dyson air wrap really that worth it? Honestly to me it seems “good” because it’s a brand name.

my hair ends up being flat only hours after washing and it’s pissing me off so bad, what can I do?
tie your hair overnight it pulls your scalp and kinda lifts the hair a bit but it damages the hair so yk

I’ve used hair mousse and it didn’t really help, my hair is dyed with like those shampoo dyes but my hair flatness was a problem before then and still consists. I have like I think low porosity hair and it’s just past my collarbone.

well is it straight/curly/wavy and what is the thickness of it? it breaks my heart to see girls with thin, flat, greasy hair

It’s straight with medium thickness
medium thickness... well if its straight its lowkey bound to get flat
you can always try heatless curls with slightly damp hair and later apply hairspray to lock it in and make sure you wrap your hair tight as it needs tension since you are not using heat. you can also change your hair into a side part so it looks like theres some shape on top
what i recommend to everyone is a layer cut so you can add some shape to your hair all over, and if you do blowouts its more likely to stay. sorry to hear thats whats happening to your hair right now

dont wash it obviously. everyone with straight hair has this issue, i stopped using shampoo

no shampoo is cope
or so ive heard

Really late to this but you can get invisible layers and it adds much more volume. If you dont know what they are theyre just short layers under the top section of your hair and you can barely tell that they're their, it also makes it alot easier to style

Wait that’s such a good idea, thank you so much.

Use a leave in conditioner dumbass

colourwow raise the root before blowdrying and dyson airwrap gives CRAZY volume , the shark is probably a cheaper option but if you use mouse and hairspray its very worth it

You probably are using the wrong products. The most important is not having a wrong shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. Considering your hair goes flat fast i'm assuming you have fine or maybe medium hair but you would need to research a bit into that. Currently your products are too heavy for your hair and is weighing it down, volumising shampoos are a good choice as they are normally lightweight they don't give volume but allow you to have volume if you style it and most importantly it doesn't weigh your hair down if you would like you can dm me and i can send you some good youtube videos explaining all of this in detail, recommended products and explaining which hair type you have .
