My hair is extremely flat and straight.
No matter whether I use sea salt spray or texture powder my hair gains a bit of volume for around 30 mins then goes flat and straight again.
I have 1A hair and its been currently 1 month since Ive stopped using shampoo - however my hair is still the same as before?

Anyone know any fixes or advice and possible products which may make my hair fluffy or at least not flat?

sorry to hear that! you cant change your hair type tho and since you have 1A its likely thin and prone to falling out (after curling like you said)
try getting a perm if you want any type of wave or curl in your hair
it can help for a good while just make sure to maintain and keep your hair healthy

my brother tried no using no shampoo in his hair for a month - 2 months in now and his hair isnt smelly or scalp looking dry. In fact his hair has become insanely wavy

Fuck getting a perm. Try Modern Pirate Crème sea salt pomade, Layrite Natural Matte Cream, or a water based pomade that is stronger than those.

If your hair is really straight a stronger matte clay might help.

A good one will last all day. If you were to fall asleep and not shower before you did it would be rework-able for a couple of days if it’s a good one. I wouldn’t recommend not washing however .
