Happiness is a spectrum

For example, I'm a little happy right now, but i could definitely be more happy. at what point have i reached my "end goal"?

I get your point. I think being satisfied with your life and finding joy in the thing you do at a daily basis should be your end goal. Happiness doesn't exist without other emotions so their will always be ups and downs. If you view happiness as a spectrum you should always aim to be as far up on the spectrum as possible

Yeah, I agree with you

Which is why I support roping, as it can effectively give happiness to people by stopping them from experiencing sadness in the future
I have made a thread before explaining how having roping as an way out can result in you living a better life.

You get unhappy chasing happiness
Just accept what you have

I think you mean getting into a spiral of something never being enough. Thats not what i mean. I think you should try to improve yourself everyday and find joy in the things you love to do, not the outcome that it gets you.

Happiness is temporary contentment should be the end goal
