But there are questions today's models just aren't built to answer, and subjective image-processing assessments like this are probably one of them.

Even if the base models were fairly accurate, their responses often reflect fine-tuning and system prompts more than truth. Think of 4o’s sycophancy: even if the model could push back, it was ""configured"" to always side with the user. You just don't know how the model behind your answer was ""configured"". Hell, maybe the way you phrased your prompt made the response you got more likely in the first place.

Yeah I see but that's part of the problem. ChatGPT knows how the answers to such questions typically look like on this forum. I mean, do you agree with this answer? Or do you think it just look like a stereotypical answer you might get?
