Actually, many people find that you just don't "deserve it" unless you suffer like they do

The same reason why people hate content creators or celebrities or whatever. There's nothing more pathetic than projecting your struggles onto others in a chimpish way like this.

Inheriting a huge amount of money, diversifying it in a portfolio and living off the dividends is a dream, too bad my parents are still in their 40s

the problem occurs when their self-consciousness about it gets the best of them (super common) and they start, on a daily basis and without anyone asking, shitting on poor people like being poor/rich is a simple choice you are supposed to make while brushing your teeth
