Even with how I legit described Ryland and that photo of future doesn't even look like him at all, Ryland is still kinda chopped ig but from what I do know about him he's an alr guy if not kinda sensitive ig

Alr update.

Ryland wasn't lying, as I expected.
Cass does have a boyfriend. Some southeastern Asian guy. A Southeast Asian guy in question that I height mog, despite him being almost guaranteed to be 2 years older then me at the least. His name was Jack, if I remember right. And although I mog him in height, face, and voice I DO respect the fact that (just like his girlfriend) he could most definitely beat the everlasting Shit out of me if we ever ended up in a physical confrontation (I'm a martial arts newbie. Only been doing it for over a year now)

Anyway, I couldn't help but feel like Cass was purposely ignoring me. Didn't say hi, didn't even seem to wanna look at or acknowledge me.
And Jack, he was there at the dojo tonight, doing training with us. And since he was, it made it pretty awkward for me. Especially because him being there also made me the odd man out (because obviously you'd wanna go partner up with your boyfriend instead of just some 17 YO that's almost like a kid or some sort to you)
So, with all of that I just decided to put earbuds in and go take out my frustration on the punching bag or do drills with the sensei.

Still, just immediately harboring resentment towards this guy for being with a girl I had a crush on is something the kind of man I don't wish to be would do.
I would feel guilty and rightfully so for just hating on a stranger that didn't even do anything to me.

Although, "stranger" is debatable at this point. Me and him actually got pretty quickly acquainted by the end of practice when he saw me passively watching him go to work on the bag. Noticing me, he steps out of the way and asks if I wanna use the bag. I oblige and then in a spur of the moment I ask him how to do a palm strike. It also became apparent at that moment that I voice mog him.

This question almost acts as an ice breaker of sorts because then me and him discuss it, and I mention how Bas Rutten says how to do it; and upon me mentioning Bas Rutten we find out we both think he's one of the GOATs and look up to him. I also realize & mention we're both wearing the same brand of gym shirt and we both laugh about it, with him playfully touching me on the shoulder, saying some shit about "Great minds think alike"

Here's where I actually learned his name though, I asked him what his name was and that I hadn't seen him about there before. He says his name is Jack and that this is his first time training at this specific dojo.
Anyway, after that though I just started doing a buncha palm strikes on the bag, and gave him my name as he was going out.



So what are we thinking? I'm glad I wrote all this down because it gives me hope that I'll at least be 6'2 by the end of my growing if I'm only recently 17 and am already taller than this dude whose gotta be like 19-20something (if we're going off Cass's age, 21)
