Hi, I am a 17 year old female and I joined this forum to improve my looks and other areas which I can't seem to find much help for online (I'm hoping maybe people can give me some tips) My main problems is the clothes I wear, my hair, my voice, and just overall my appearance. I've been told in the past I sound androgynous/masculine (I'm not transgender by the way I'm a female from birth) I started watching voice training videos that "teach you how to feminize your voice" when I was younger, yet they always seem to be for trans women which I'm assuming is why they don't work for me. As for my clothes, unfortunately I have scars covering my whole left sleeve of my lower arm which forces me to wear sleeved clothing. I feel like sleeves make my body look "strange" but I would rather wear them than have my scars visible. As for my face I have been told by others I'm "cute" but its always online and I don't know exactly how to explain this part but I feel like I look much different on a camera than a mirror or when someone else takes a picture of me if its farther away from me. Lastly, my hair is dyed not exactly a "obnoxious color" but I have light brown hair with parts of blonde and brown stripes across it, maybe this just doesn't suite me?

(Sorry for the rant)

what can I do to improve? (If you have any suggestions)
Hmm...

  1. First of all, you can change your hair style (the classic advice). Search for quality stylists, cheuffeurs. Ask them what style would suit you best.
  2. Then, considering you are still a teenager, you can upgrade your clothes. Maybe you could think about leaving graphic designs on clothes (It is optional).
  3. If you have any body issues, you can get your hormone levels and posture checked. This would give you an idea of what things to do (Saying this because you look a bit humped on the pictures, and you say you have masculine voice; you probably have some sort of growth hormone issues).
