And though the inexorable march of Time doth now compel our present discourse unto its lamentable conclusion, yet let not thine heart be burdened with undue melancholy; for every farewell, however grievous and steeped in sorrowful reflection, doth carry within it the silent promise of some future and most joyous reunion. Until such blessed hour shouldst arrive, I remain, with the utmost reverence, affection, and unfeigned esteem—

I bid thee a most ceremonious and profoundly heartfelt adieu.
