Ok so since like early into this year I started really trying to solve my hair problems. Ive been doing research for a very long time and I cant fucking figure ts out and i dont have enough money to wildly experiment like a product orgy. Ive tried drugstore products and they do not work for me because i guess they arent strong enough? - and genuinely the only thing I care about in my hair stuff is that it is cruelty free, sometimes it'll be different when it comes to like japanese/Korean products but I 99.999% of the time i require a cruelty free certificate to but something. Ive been told all about the L'oreal products and they theyre great but im not a fan of Nestlé so I try to stay out of them unless its pureology since im plotting for the leave in conditioner. I dont even know whether this is a good place to ask but I am genuinely desperate and I have no good salons near me for now. So like my hair is super weird, my hair strands individually are super tiny but I have a shit ton of it, that I can barely see my scalp usually. It gets greasy on the scalp/roots so fucking fast omg like lately I cant go a day without washing it unless I dont care how it looks, and im going back to school in september and I cannot be washing my hair every day because thats super bad for it and I wanna grow it out. And it looks like shit when I wash it too. All that oil on my scalp and my ends are dry as shit, like frizzy and dry. I havent met anyome with this hair type and I need to get some actually fucking products that work and I dont care how much they are just as long as its cruelty free or if its a Korean/japanese etc. brand its a bit of a loophole. I was gonna do pictures but its kinda gross and I think I might colour it because its too light. Please help.

What hair type are you?

Pictures would help but

- get a nice indian hair oil and oil your hair 2-3 times a week
- wash your hair every other day instead of every day
- cut as much of it as possible for now and keep trimming it regularly
- make sure you’re using a nice conditioner every day

Like 1a-1b, straight
Verb ghost has good shampoo and conditioner for your type of hair, other alternatives would be
Amika Mirrorball Shampoo
Briogeo Scalp Revival
and for conditioner maybe
Pureology Hydrate Sheer
Amika Mirrorball Conditioner

Matters what results you want

I am really just wanting it to be more shiny and sleek and less puffy and straw like in the ends, it just gets so greasy and when its trying to be shiny its starts separating from the oil and idk how to describe it

olaplex leave in conditioner for ends and k18 damage repair mask will help with that
shower every other day like that guy said
additionally u can put baby powder in ur roots or dry shampoo to reduce the oil

I tried with the baby powder thing and since my hair is so dense with so much hair its gets clumpy and it looks like my scalp just hit a line tbh

Just lightly dusting it then moving my hair a bit with a small tool or clean hands, I get build up fast in my roots then my bangs move around and its just a mess
it sounds like u have fine but thick hair. i would recommend putting a small amount of powder in ur palms, rubbing together, and them combing/shaking i through ur roots. apply more as needed

dont just dump it across ur head lol
