a while ago she (old friend) recommended an artist’s songs.
back then i didn’t like it.
now a friend recommended and i genuinely love it.
reminds me of her.
i miss her she was there at my lowest tho.
why do i want her to notice i now do like her music?
we don’t talk anymore i ruined things between us.

yeah i did we acttualy became friends after she rejected me and for some reason we started talking more, she was there for me at my lowest and then shit went to hell.
idk tho i think my taste really has changed tho i now like other artists in the same genre.

Yeah, I get that tho ur taste changing explains why you can enjoy it now but the reason it feels different is because of what she represented for you back then especially since there were feelings and she showed up for you when things were bad.

Just accept it and accept that the memory attached to her makes listening to things that remind u of her feel heavier, those things don’t contradict each other.
