I tried that, my hair broke off and had to be cut because it couldn't handle the heat.
Also straight hair looks weird on me and I wish natural hair wasn't seen as ugly but I can either conform to the standard or kill myself.

Maybe try the twist things? I cant remember what its called but its extentions twisted into the natural hair
