some n***a today said that I have a model face and that I should do modelling out of nowhere and I told him that I dont even look nearly as good as a model and he said ur eyes are very pretty and unique or sum like that

This is obviously a good thing, but I have heard some compliments given to mediocre or unattractive people due to circumstances. Usually, the most significant compliments from men are more explicit, such as “you're hot” or “I would have sex with you if I were gay/I would sleep with your sister”, “how many girls have you slept with/do you sleep with?”

yeah agreed most of the time ugly people get more compliments but this guy was being serious I think

online yes, irl no, people in general are less likely to give you compliments irl not counting virtue signal compliments like muh "your wearing nice clothes today" or muh you have a nice smile

A good way to understand if you are attractive is when males either gravitate towards you or are hostile towards you for no reason
Second is common if you are not their “leader”

I have often received snide remarks from males who belittled my appearance but then called me gay because I didn't take advantage of many opportunities I had.

The assumption of some not very attractive males is that a male must be a sort of sexual whore for females.

most of the time I have guys hating on my appearance instead of giving me compliments they either say "you look gay or you look like a girl"

Happened to me once by a HTB, I prolly could have dated her, but I was lazy af back then... over
