let’s assume you genuinely have nothing and that you’re okay with being doxxed n shit, if you’re in school, aren’t you living with other people? assuming you are, i don’t feel like they would appreciate your lack of care directly putting them in harm’s way. at that point it’s not giving up on yourself, it’s not caring about other people.

I only care about other people if it serves me in some way atp, but being legitamately doxxed could still pose general safety issues because if you get unlucky people can try to come to your house or something plus doxxers tend to be batshit so they'll probably try to go after unrelated people

statistically, you wouldn’t be a likely target unless you’re famous, rich, or leaving a relationship w/ a nutcase. not to say people don’t get stalked for crazy and weird reasons, but far less likely. but i do agree with you that there’s still a risk in which it would potentially hurt others who are unrelated. i just feel like you would only lose in that situation. some nutcase shows up and hurts somebody unrelated— you more than likely lose that connection or even that person’s life so you don’t even benefit from them anymore. so even as a “i don’t care, i only use people” way it wouldn’t make sense in my opinion

Yeah, I'm thankfully extremely irrelevant so I basically get to say whatever I want whenever but I should probably stop if there's signs that someone unrelated is gonna get involved
