True I used to dog on my grandpa in checkers when I was a kid

Also played chess on cool math games a few times

I have 1550 and sorry to break it to you G, but that is only for the greats that began since they were 3yo, tho you can get to advanced level with a lot, A LOT of practice day in and day again, like to 2000 elo online
 
just play as much you can against as many different opponent's as possible and learn how they play so you can spot a familiar behaviour and improve
