how can I make friends in school

I'm going to Uni soon. I was wondering how can I make friends? Unironcally, based on my schools page and who I've seen I already know who I will likely be friends with based off of major and shared interests.

And also how can I meet other women?

I don't want to really join any societies, since I dont know anyone, and I'm fairly introverted aswell. Even if I manage to get in, I'm not too keen on the social aspects of it.

Bare minimums im thinking about: Have good hygiene (smell nice), look nice, dress nice, and act nice.
Any other tips?

Try and talk to them on socials first. When ur there if you're awkward you can start a friendship based off of school related shit. Sounds corny but ask for a pencil or something

the way u asked this tells me u need at least 1yr+ experience getting fucked up on obscure research chems till you'll be reliably nt enough to make friends and attract women. this works bcuz addicts make fast friends

I don't know if asking for a pencil would work in Uni since the majority of people will be using their laptops. However, it seems like I'd have to start the conversation first if I want to make friends and meet people.

Talk to 5 - 10 people you should make a few friends from that and then ur social group should expand from there. I'm sure there are people who'll try and talk to you too first

I don't really understand what you mean. I've tried certain brain-altering chemicals to try and make myself more sociable, and so far it seems to have worked quite well. Nonetheless, my personality and introverted-ness hasn't changed, it just made me more confident and more relaxed.

I've had people try and talk to me but it doesn't really go too far. Like someone would say I like your shoes, and I'd thank them, and that's it. I'm quite perplexed at how you can just compliment someone and not continue the conversation.

I think you need to ask some questions people love to talk about themselves. Maybe expand on the shoes too like where you got them from or what other shoes you might get

before u go get in gcs and put ur uni on ur socials, on freshers week everyone goes out so make sure ur involved and u will make tonnes of friends n*****s just approach u randomly theyre very low inhib on first week and then its a lot harder after tjat, if ur in america join a sorority or smthn idk how that works
