How can I speed up hair growth to get out of the awkward stage?

My sides need to grow out

I've been letting them grow for 4 months and they still aren't as long as I want them to be

i mean u cant really speed it up its mostly the same rate but ig hoodie method it ascends u 0.5psl and makes ur sides grow out

If you shower in the mornings, apply rosemary oil before you sleep and rinse it out in the morning. If you shower at the end of your day, apply it a few hours prior or if you want to do it in shorter amounts of time, just apply more and rinse. I recommend the brands Mielle, Shea Moisture, and Garnier's Ultimate Blend products. Also, make sure you're just drying your hair gently (preferably with a cotton t shirt) and brushing it without too much pressure to the scalp.
