a month but i liked her for about a year before and some other shit between us happend before even dating

Only time and dating other woman/women will makes you forget your "first love".

For reference i'm 27, have a fiancée and i dated my 1st gf when i was 12 to 15yo so 3 years together. I basically forget her, i do not miss her at all, even if our relationship was healthy & lovely.

For me the concept of "1st love" is a cope, you've just put the first girl who was beyond nice to you on an imaginary pedestal.
At the time they was dating the best option around the block and when they started exploring options while growing up, moving around and puberty hit, the women tastes change drastically.

Dating yoir 1st girl should be a nice experience to remember lessons of, but no way it should be romanticized or having nostalgia of, she isn't the one, she isn't special, they aren't special, you just need to date the less shitty of the gender
