I have a sleep study coming up soon, the result will decide whether or not I will get approved by insurance for surgery. Any Ideas on how I can make my sleep worse? I was thinking about putting ear plugs in my nose so I will be forced to mouth breathe.

  1. Viagra. Causes nasal congestion
  2. Eat foods known to cause acid reflux and immediately before bed
  3. Drink alcohol before sleep study
  4. Smoke tobacco before sleep study
  5. If you allergic to anything nasally (if you get seasonal allergies or allergies to like dust mites), expose yourself
  6. Instead of mouth taping maybe you could nostril tape, just be wary this sounds very unsafe

@kungfumaster if you want a guide to inducing acid reflux hmu.

Imma give you the Gerd breakdown anyways: eat LARGE quantity of food IMMEDIATELY before bed... dairy, spicy foods, acidic foods, carbonated foods, high-fat foods, etc. are your key.

start training your neck at the gym

Love how for a time troons could get their very own axe wound paid fully by tax dollars and it was all considered "gender affirming" meanwhile.

@giga.mia this could be a good guide if I expanded

Sooo did you get approved?

Lol go onto @Mandy? profile and you can see if I actually need jaw surgery or if I am just mentally ill

I have not had the sleep study yet but this post is mainly based around acid reflux + nasal congestion

I don’t think u need tbh. You have good forward growth and projection, jaw surgery would be pretty extra.

@triangle @giga.mia @JeezyTheSnowman

Sorry have been on the forum since school started.

I was just barely under the apnea event threshold to be considered to have sleep apnea. but I still got recommended to an ear nose and throat who told me the best route would be a bimax and that insurance would likely still pay for it. He scheduled me with an appointment with a jaw surgeon which I going to see soon.

Pretty excited to not be hella recessed anymore.
