Idk if it’s the same in every country, but in the uk we have mark schemes, if you memorise them it helps a ton

What worked for me during high school was the basics, study the theory and solve a ton of questions

I have good study habits but I often delay it and take too many breaks

For me I just force myself to study for a certain number of hours. Usually on weekends I force myself to study for 3 hours, but I let myself take breaks In between. But thats just what works for me
