How do I prevent my tongue from rolling up when mewing?

I can’t seem to get the entirety of my tongue resting on the roof of my mouth and my palate isn’t even very narrow. Instead I instinctively roll the tip of my tongue upwards and I can’t seem to not do this. Any tips?
