Serious How do I see PAST physical attractiveness?

It might sound stupid, but I was recently watching one piece, and in the show there's this character named Boa Hancock, who reminds me of an issue Ive run into a couple times.

Bottom line is, she is extremely sexy to pretty much everyone.
But incidentally, she deals with the problem that basically nobody sees her for who she actually is. Everyone (barring the main character) focuses on her body and her appearance only, nothing else.

And the Crux of what I'm trying to say here is, Im not making this post to say I share her problem, but rather that I contribute to other people having that problem.

In other words, I'm no different than someone that would blindly simp for an attractive person like her.
There's been times where I've blindly run into relationships or tried to get into one with someone because I thought they looked hot and I wanted to fuck them.
Usually it does not end well

Once you love someone for who they are, their appearance dont matter
Its like familial love, you dont love your mom or dad becuz they are pretty.
One way i try to see beyond ppl's appearance is by watching those videos of burn victims and stuff cuz when you see those videos you are trying to see ppl for more than their appearance and for who they truly are.
