i have problems with my jaw,

my tounge touches the front of my teeth all the time, which created a lisp for me, other then that it also gave me jaw pain and it made it hard to sleep with a closed mouth at night.

my mom doesnt take it srs though and only wants to go to a dentist in april (which isnt good).

i think she thinks im making all of the above up,

i have the feeling if i ask her one more time she is gonna cancel the appointment

Parents sometimes dismiss pain complaints as temporary. Therefore, focusing on the functional impairment is more effective
Having to sleep with my mouth open at night prevents me from falling into deep sleep. This affects my concentration during the day and my immune system. Or
My lisp has started to permanently affect my social confidence and communication at school you can say

Communicate your problems with her and explain clearly how it's uncomfortable to live with it. She'll most probably explain that seeing an orthodontist can be expensive or time-consuming for her but if you can make her understand that it's for your physical well-being she'll be more inclined to accept your demands.

won’t work especially once they recommend an invasive surgery the mother will flip and decline

You should present the problem not as a disease requiring surgery but as a corrective process that can prevent the need for surgery scientifically the earlier temporomandibular joint TMJ problems are detected the lower the likelihood of surgical intervention

He wants Bimax prolly lol

TMJ is a disease, while Bimax is a procedure. The procedure is not performed until the disease is healed
We should stop mentioning the word surgery and focus on joint health
