i have a foster brother my family took in since he was 14 days old and he’s 6 now

something that comforts me is how he is experiencing so many thoughts, feelings, and experiences for the first time

life is so precious and seeing him get older makes me sad but also makes me so proud of the little dude he’s become

it’s good for them to become independent though

while hard it’s necessary for them to be happy

must be rough for single parents
1,000% way harder
