How do socially unaware and disliked people get friends?

Your typical mama's boy who cries easily and doesn't understand what others are thinking, etc. How do these people get friends so easily? Even I had 2 friends like this when I was a kid. I didn't like either of them, though.

They're so weird. But they always end up with a solid friend group. How?

I can see that when you're a little kid, tbh. I was a terrible friend to one of them bc he would just never leave and gave so much attention.

but after high school they integrate to "real" friend groups and are liked, tbh

yeah. it's different kind of punching bag. Usually with those unaware people, people just poke them, and they don't realize its targeted at them, then when it become too obvious they realize everything they did was targeted and just explode.

People doing it then just dismiss it as "we were just playing like usual" it's very easy to bully/troll these types of people
