Idk it takes a while for it to really effect me. Sometimes it never affects me and I just kinda don't feel that strongly about it.

My grandma died like a year and a half ago already, its harsh but you eventually go through, i dont know about ppl who lose their dad or mom tho

I’ve had a few family members but mostly pets pass and I just hide in my room for like a week and then go back to acting normal

n***a the first thing I did as a baby was choke my twin brother to death

I’m stone cold since the womb

i wouldn’t know, not because i haven’t had people die on me no ive had people i loved very much die, but for me after someone dies thats sorta where my feelings for them abruptly end. like, i don’t think ive ever actually ever felt sad about someone or something (had a few pets die) dying. its more of a “oh thats a shame, no more time with them i guess” thing

Ssris numbed me I can't feel anything for grandparents passing away , apathy and anhedonia they call it
Antipsychotics and antidepressants

You just live with it tbh
Like it never really stops hurting you just learn to live with it

do you forget it after some time?
not forget, just acclimate to the way it is. when my dog died almost a decade ago i was devastated but now i just see it as a sad period not something to continuously agonize over

do you forget it after some time?
Id say yes kinda of
Its like you make it into a background noise of sorts if you get what i mean
When my sister died i would lowk sometimes start bawling in the middle of the class for no reason because thats all i could think about for months
Now it has been 2 years i dont start havibg random breakdown in the middle of the class but whenever i remember at night i still cry

i dont know how you can deal with someone so close to you just dying it sounds so painful, so sorry for your loss

but it just happens you cant prevent it you just have to deal with it

Just realize they're gone and live your life

Idk, my old neighbor died a few weeks ago

We were close but I hadn’t visited him in like 2 yrs, I don’t feel super sad, just very regretful. Maybe that’s how it goes I suppose

allow yourself to slow down and grieve its okay to mourn someone

my pet died last october and i have never been the same.

lost one of my friend this feb and it's like my whole identity shifted after seeing how his 2month long gf erased him from everything and started posting normal shit and even "new relationship", "i want a man" type shit within a week after he died.
