How does bone mashing exactly work

Do I just hit my bones in my jaw and cheekbone really hard and they just expand from micro fractures. What I've been doing is tucking my fingers under my jaw in front of my neck and prying apart my jaw to widen it and lengthen my ramus I feel like its worked a lot and hurt less then bone mashing but idk.

How does it work ? Simple, it doesn't. No real bone mass is created from bonesmashing, just swelling.
