You gotta admit modern music mogs hard my nikka. Rock, indie, shoegaze, alt rock
But it doesn't even sound modern brah. It's just how the genre is made.
Not to sound condescending or impose my view but it's quite literally the opposite it evokes in me, if you check the lyrics, it's about moving on from a past relationship and starting over. From my experience I listened the most to this song in this context of moving on and starting over. Even in it's instrumentation I find to be blissful, bittersweet but yearning to keep moving. Also there's more suifuel shoegaze bands out there.
