Not really monologue but I do have an inner voice

Never talking to myself though but I have imaginary conversations and activities with the people I know
 
I do actually remember losing my inner voice which I've never heard any cases of. I don't have any trauma but I remember losing it when I was around 7/8? I heard a man on the radio in a friends' car and he asked me to imagine a totally empty space (then repeated, no, not a black space, which was my first attempt) then I did it correctly and the voice stopped
