How much money would you lend someone before expecting them to pay it back?

I don't lend money to friends. And not to family members either because the ones who would ask don't need it and the ones who would need it don't ask. The only people I'll ever be lending money to are my children. And with them the sky is the limit. But, that being said, I'm not gonna raise them to be the type of people to need to ask for money.

Not like that, like if a close friend aasks for some money idk to fix his bike or eat something I'd give 500+ without asking it seems like a lot but you wouldn't really mind but when around 1k it becomes serious
 
Depending who : father or brother or gf, no amount if i can afford it and only for useful things

Friends : they refund me starting at 2 euros

Rest of the family, coworkers etc : i have zero money
