my perspective sounds really limited but i would change up my habits and routine fs because love puts you in a position where you have to eventually deal with adversity (eg adjusting to the other person’s day-to-day) and it puts you in a place of discomfort, i think preparing for that is best for myself and my partner. id never abandon my morals for someone else, as that’s what makes someone their own person. if you ask for those things to change, you don’t love the person. imo though once you’re already in love and the person loves you, that’s when you start making the most changes, whether it be consciously or not.
