how smoking cigerattes at a young age prevents mandibular growth

you may be wondering if you should smoke cigerattes to looksmax for the appetite supression and holloved cheeks (due to collagen supression)

but heres the problem.

Problem one is the collagen. Collagen is a major structural component of the cartilage.
collagen supports chondrocytes, chondrocytes are a major structure in your jaw. its the cartillage network.

when you supress the collagen your supressing chondrocytes which alters how much cartillage is in your jaw making it appear narrower

P.2 nicotine exposure. a7-nAChR is a nicotine receptor in chondrocytes (a7-nAChR = a7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors). nicotine connects to these receptors and produces a strong calcium ion signal inside the cell(ca"2+) which blocks
a7 nicotine acetylcholine receptors and largely prevents the growth.

so the theoretical timeline on when you smoke nicotine is that nicotine= more cal+ which = cx7-nachr supression which = less cartilage and a more recessed narrower looking mandible

It took me a month of reading about mandibles and what supports them to make this theory
