Im 18 and I graduate by the end of this Semester from high school. Per say I wanted to live on my own what are the best tips from someone who has done that already or has knowledge of doing so. I feel like everything is so expensive nowadays nothing is sustainable.

Everything is super expensive now a days my best tip is get an apartment that has a free 24-hour gym, this will save loads in gym membership, and they often have free water bottles or a fill up station, so you don't need to buy beverages. the secret to cheap food is the good old order the groceries on door dash and always refund 2-3 items. This is what I do and it saves me loads!

mell if it is an option not to inmediatly go off on your own I recommend that you do not do it I started living alone by my own pretty young around 16 me 1. but didn't have to rent pay it at the very minimum until I was pretty old 19 to 20 as of today.

but if you are for sure going to do it, the most important thing is learning to eat on a very stringent budget.

rice, lentils, chick peas, and potatoes are your biggest friends, the most expensive thing are lemons or a little bit of fruit and eggs if your not in USA you can buy a box of 100 eggs more cheaply that dozen of eggs, boil them pickle them, do them in soy sauce this avoids you don't getting scurvy.

make a budget that includes going out so you don't feel like you are going nowhere.

and make, a plan to better your life

utensils is a instant pot to reduce cooking times and a bike
