How tf do you straighten your teeth

I've been looking into this shit for a while because my teeth are fucked. So I look into fucking braces and apparently they'll cause your maxilla to be recessed and downward grown or whatever. I was like fuck that and started looking into aligners and these rich mfs start complaining that it's "not working" and "unhappy with the results". I honestly need someone who has had their teeth straightened to answer this because i've been confused for MONTHS.

you should have been fed properly when you were younger but you should try things like invisalign

When it comes to invisalign and similar treatments, if you go to a reputable place, they will tell you during the consultation whether or not it will work for you. If they think you won't get any benefit for it, they're just going to tell you that you'll need braces.

@rand anon's recommendation is the best one, to get braces without elastics. Braces by themselves don't really cause the issues you mentioned, because it's just focused on the teeth and not the jaw or maxilla. If anything, most people are annoyed to learn that braces only fix the teeth and not their bite.
