iris pigment is genetically determined and permanent, if you're seeing slight differences its most likely due to lighting. Your best bet would still be coloured contacts. There's only a few ways eye colour can shift naturally, and even then it's usually a slow subtle thing, like lighter eyes becoming lighter due to pigment degrading with aging.
