Disagreedebloating is cope, you either have good facial good genes or you don't
there's nothing to disagree about, you can just naturally have a large buccal fat pad due to genes or your bones are just shit so you will always look roundDisagree
There is a lot to disagree about, but there are conditions like hypothyroidism and what not that can create excessive facial bloating. You could say "those are rare exceptions" which is fair but still. And sometimes the buccal fat pad is not the cause but rather excessive subcutaneous facial fatthere's nothing to disagree about, you can just naturally have a large buccal fat pad due to genes or your bones are just shit so you will always look round
as I've said before i'm not denying there may be people who have inflammation or thyroid issues etc, but most of the time people are just boneless or have bad fat distribution genes, for example things like hollow cheeks are due to bone structure it doesn't matter how much someone debloats or loses weight they can't get themThere is a lot to disagree about, but there are conditions like hypothyroidism and what not that can create excessive facial bloating. Hollow cheeks are also said to be overrated though... Pitt and O'Pry just barely have them if they did at all, same with Chicoas I've said before i'm not denying there may be people who have inflammation or thyroid issues etc, but most of the time people are just boneless or have bad fat distribution genes, for example things like hollow cheeks are due to bone structure it doesn't matter how much someone debloats or loses weight they can't get them
okay that's irrelevant our topic here is debloating and facial fat, also doesn't have to be hallow cheeks specifically just a more angular lookHollow cheeks are also said to be overrated though...
I understand that but when I was younger (2-3 years ago) my face was alot less fat and this was before I developed pots and had to up my soduim intake I think it varys person to person thodebloating is cope, you either have good facial good genes or you don't
Not rlly about hollow cheeks for me its more about the fat that sits on my cheek bones and around my eyes and some around my jawas I've said before i'm not denying there may be people who have inflammation or thyroid issues etc, but most of the time people are just boneless or have bad fat distribution genes, for example things like hollow cheeks are due to bone structure it doesn't matter how much someone debloats or loses weight they can't get them
Get lean? Not rlly about hollow cheeks for me its more about the fat that sits on my cheek bones and around my eyes and some around my jaw
Here's the differenceI understand that but when I was younger (2-3 years ago) my face was alot less fat and this was before I developed pots and had to up my soduim intake I think it varys person to person tho
Its a 2% body fat difference and its in the same category anyway so I dont think there should be much of a differenceGet lean?

holy yapI have POTS too. I just ordered a caffeine face serum from The Ordinary for my face. caffeine helps supposedly but I haven't tried it yet. It's worth a try. Also drinking green tea. I'll update when I do get the serum. Collagen is so important! Have collagen everyday. Since you have pots, try to find one with all the types of collagen. But if you're only concerned about skin, Type I and III collagen should be fine. Keep up with going to the doctor, especially the gastro and endo, and of course the person who manages your pots. POTS is a nervous system disorder I believe, so it could affect you in more ways than you know. POTS will f up your digestive and metabolic system and gut health is key, could be the reason you're inflamed or bloated or puffy. Also check thyroid health at endo and anything else like that. Endo is super important for women, many things can be heIpful until they're not like when people promote sea moss or other things like that. Stay on top of those checkups and hormone stuff. I workout everyday, eat no sugar and I'm 93lbs and still get these issues due to POTS but not the sodium, the gut issues it causes. Also if you have POTS, it might be dehydration if you're not getting enough sodium with your water or other minerals if you don't take an electrolyte. People like LMNT, Vitassium, Liquid IV (SUGAR FREE!). Check for inflammation in urine tests as well. POTS requires regular check ups with these things. Get X rays of your colon. Avoid processed sugar, especially in electrolytes. I'm sure you know to drink electrolyte water and take magnesium. Magnesium!! So important. I take glycinate for metabolic stuff (I have PCOS as well), citrate for digestion, malate for energy. I also take acetyl taurate which might be helpful as well. If you get muscle pain, try chloride too. Could help with working out. I'm sure you know about red light, gua sha, lymphatic drainage massages for puffiness in general. You could try chinese medicine, but that's not my forte. I know people like acupuncture. I also do know that posture, exercise, stress and stretching play a part in it. Try yoga if you can? Massage your stomache. I've seen people say castor oil on the stomache helps, if you wanna try that. I prefer electrolytes over salt but seriously, not managing your POTS symptoms will make it worse in the long run so don't worry about people saying too much sodium will bloat or inflame you. What type of bloating do you mean? Is it puffiness? Salt never helped me on it's own really, try an electrolyte, sugar free. Vitassium tablets help some people! 500-750mg and take it multiple times a day. Drink lots of water. If its stomache bloating, do you take a digestive enzyme? Different ones help with different things. Log which foods affect you and then find a digestive enzyme that targets that type of food, but most people like Digest Gold. Of course make sure you're on top of oral health, if your gut health is affected it may affect your oral health, which can affect your face. I really like TheraBreath mouthwash, I genuinely think it made a difference. I had this ayurvedic one as well, I can't find or remember what it was, but it helped with inflammation. See a dermatologist maybe as well? or if you don't want to do that, you could try an anti aging skincare routine. Even if you're not aging. Retinol can help but it also can make your face puffy for a bit during the break out phase I think? It honestly hasn't happened to me, but idk! Someone can correct me if im wrong xD. If you're having sagging face or jowls, get tested for ehlers danlos. It goes hand in hand with POTS a lot of time, and can cause sagging skin. It'll give you a better guideline for understanding how to treat it, whether you choose to do so homeopathically or with medication. Good luck <3
