How to escape comfort cage.

I was never used to comfort It feels like I’m rejecting it but I can’t escape

Exposure therapy and romanticism helps, probably

What worked for me (3years ago) was just thinking what my life would be in a few years if I were to go down the same path. Gave me a panic realizing the shit I'm heading towards.

For some people it's good to visualize what your future would look like if you don't change anything, and then visualize a future where you changed your mindset and have taken action. I'm currently in the same kind of a trap, acting like a schizoid would, total isolation and 0 drive to socialize. But, yeah gonna change that once my semester starts, as I'm realizing this past year I've essentially done nothing worth even to talk about.

So I would suggest you do that, at least. Then just trying to add some good habits that pushes you out of that cage. It's a hard process, but you need to know what you're escaping from, and what you're potentially striving for.

Some article that touches upon this "trap." It's a short read. locally optimal

I'd suggest taking psychedelics, tbh. And ruminate on that question under the influence. Will hit you like a truck.

That is if they're easy to acquire in your country.

Any recommendations?
I've only done Shrooms and MDMA. In studies it's been shown that both work great.

There's some afterglow after shrooms and you can introspect better, so I would recommend that.
